The Animal Jam App

       

Hey everyone I'm back!! I've been extremely busy lately and have not had time to post. But I decided to explore the new animal jam app that came out a few months ago.

 So I'm using an Apple iPad, to download the app go to the App Store, but if you're using a different kind of tablet or phone find the store where you can download apps. Go to the search area and type in "Animal Jam". You want the app with the cute little wolf on it. So download it...

Here is a closer look at the app...

Once you have downloaded the app on whichever device you have it should come up with the others. Tap on it to get started.

 This is the first loading page before you can log in or create an account.

Okay you have two options, either make a new account or use your animal jam account from the online version you normally use on the computer will work on this. They just send a confirmation email to your parent.

So welcome to animal jam the app!!

Notice the bunny head button, switching button of a koala and a monkey, and  the camera button all on the left side of the screen, at the bottom.

If you clicked on the bunny icon button(if you're using a wolf or monkey it will have their head instead on the button) you will be taken to your wardrobe. Where you can change your animals appearance, cloths, recycle unwanted cloths, and add items to your trading list.

The button with the monkey and koala heads allows you to switch animals, so if you click on it you will be taken to the photo above. You are allowed 25!! animals no membership needed.

If you want to add another animal it costs 3,000 gems if you don't already have that animal. It costs 6,000 gems if you already have that animal. Gems are earned through playing games. The fox can only be bought with real money, it's $1.99 if you want the fox.

Next is the camera button, you can take pictures or look at the pictures you've taken in a photo album. 

Just position the square around where you want your picture to be then press the camera button...

The next button is the chosen phrases button, if your parents wanted you to have "safe chat" you can only talk through these chosen phrases.

Next is the keyboard, if you have normal chat you get to type in your own words, although some words are blocked.

The next button on the bottom of your screen is the actions you animal can do...

The next button is your emoticons...

If you tapped on the little earth button you can travel to any meadow. Or go to your house.

If you go to your house you will notice a new button has appeared next to the globe, if you click it you can change your house, put furniture items in and whatever you want.

Okay these buttons are on the top of your screen, the letter button is where you can send letters to your friends. The tiger and the monkey waving button is where you can look up the friends you have. The party hat and balloon button is what parties are currently happening. The game controller button lists all the games you can play. The map button lets you look for treasure once a day to get rare items. And the pile of colored coins are where you can see how many gems you have. Everything is pretty easy to figure out.

The meadows on the map: Kimbara Outback!

Hey everyone I'm back with a post on everything Kimbara Outback!

First locate "Kimbara" on your map! Click it..

    Yay! hopefully you've arrived! Welcome to the outback!

 This is the center of the screen.

  Bottom left corner..

Bottom right corner!

Top left corner..

Top right corner!

You'll have probably noticed a building with a white cross on it...This is the medical center!

  If you go in...this is what you will find!

                                             

You can buy some medical gear here if you want. Click where it says sale.

This is whats for sale...

If you look around you'll notice wolf photo's on the walls..if you click anyone of them..

This pops up telling you about a wolf rescue mission!

                                                         

     If you'll notice the coloring table and click it...

They offer you fun facts about animals to print out!

 If you go up the stairs...

 There's a mini medical center...

                                                             

There's also a shop in the outback located in the top left corner!

 If you go inside you can buy den items!

Now for finding the animals in your journey book and getting a free den item!!!!

If you haven't found the animals yet yours will be blank..So lets find those animals!!

        

First up is the tiger snake, he pops out from behind the medical center and isn't always here. You may have to wait for him to come. middle center right of the screen.

Next is the Trapdoor spider, if you go to the bottom right corner you'll see his web, the spider comes out. So you might have to wait.

Next is the Echidna, it kind of looks like a porcupine, he appears on a large rock at the middle bottom of the screen.

      Next is the Platypus, he appears in the center of the screen, he swims out from the waterfall.

Next is the Lyrebird, he moves and lands on a branch in the very left bottom corner.

Next is the Galah bird, he flies and perchs on the roof of the medical center in the top right corner.

Next is the Kookaburra bird, he flies  out and land on the right corner of the roof of the medical center in the bottom right corner.

Next is the Blue Penguin, located near the bottom center, he pops out from behind the water fall, he moves so you may have to wait.

Next is the Cassowary, he appears in the top right corner but over in the shrub area. He runs out so you may have to wait.

Next is the Frilled lizard, He runs across the screen under the deck near the center top of the screen.

And last is the Sugar glider, he appears on the weather vain windmill thing, he moves.

Yay!! your gift! is a mini Windmill!
